Peter Thornbe

Professor Peter Thornber is an adjunct Professor at the Centre for Animal Welfare and Ethics at the University of Queensland in Australia, and President of the Commonwealth Veterinary Association. He was involved in the development of Australian Animal Welfare Standards and the lead author of the Australian Animal Welfare strategy and he led its implementation for 10 years. He was an expert Member of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) Animal Welfare Working Group.
