Jurgen Hijink

Mr. Hijink is owner of Hijdeporc BV Consulting. The company advises farms and abattoirs on higher animal welfare, mainly based on UK-welfare standards and the 5 freedoms for animals and “1-star Better Leven” from the Dutch Animal Protection organisation. In the Netherlands, the company supervises a pork concept with long tailed, non-castrated and antibiotic free grown pigs. Since 2016, Mr. Hijink is also advising Chinese farms on behalf of the animal welfare project of World Animal Protection and Compassion In World Farming.
