Yang Zhangping

Yang Zhangping, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Director of the College of Animal Science and Technology of Yangzhou University, Executive Director of Cattle Farming Branch of China Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Society, and Chief Expert of Industrial Technology System of Modern Agriculture (Cow) in Jiangsu Province. He is mainly engaged in the research of animal genetic resources and disease-resistance breeding, etc. He has chaired more than 20 projects of National 863 and National Natural Science Foundation, etc. He has won the Second Prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Progress Award and Agricultural Science and Technology Progress Award, etc. He has published more than 150 papers in domestic and foreign journals such as Emerging Infectious Disease and Journal of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, of which more than 80 papers have been included in SCI. He has also participated in the compilation of five textbooks and monographs such as Animal Genetic Resources.
